Entry Requirements

Academic requirements

  • Bachelor of Nursing: completed Year 12, ideally with Biology or another science.
  • Master (pre-registration): a relevant bachelor degree (often in health or science).
  • Clinical placements require immunisation records, a National Police Check, a Working with Children Check and First Aid/CPR.

English language proficiency

English standards are set by the NMBA and are strict:

  • IELTS Academic: 7.0 overall, with 7.0 in each band
  • OET: minimum grade B in all four components
  • PTE Academic: 65 (no score below 65)
